Stradus™ Laser Diode Module

Turn-key or module laser systems, integrating semiconductor diodes from the UV to NIR, providing high efficiency, high reliability and excellent optical performance.

The Stradus® line of lasers is a fully CDRH-compliant series of high-performance, circularized laser diode modules. The highly integrated Stradus® modules contain all the necessary optical power regulation, temperature regulation, communication interface, and protection circuitry. All Stradus® lasers are single mode TEM00 lasers. The Stradus® lasers feature both USB and RS-232 connectivity for easy to use control and monitoring of the system. A PC user interface software is provided to allow for easy setup of the system.

Consider the DL series from Crystalaser if high power multi-mode or single frequency operation is required.

The Stradus® Lite laser module for OEM applications that require a high performance but simplified device for cost sensitive applications. This high performance module is 1/4 the size of our standard Stradus® Laser Modules

The VersaLase™ multiple wavelength laser system combines up to two, four or eight wavelengths in a single module. The laser module is fully integrated, plug and play, self-contained, and requires no internal user intervention.

Stradus™ Laser Diode Module
Vortran's Stradus® laser diodes are well suited to demanding microscopy applications, such as flow-cytometry, medical diagnostics, microscope spectroscopy, industrial, bio-fluorescence, and general laboratory R&D, and are fully compatible with µmanager™.
Compact OEM Laser Modules
The Stradus® Lite laser module is suitable for cost sensitive OEM applications requiring high performance. The module is 1/4 the size of our standard Stradus laser modules, and offers the same performance and quality in a simplified device.
Compact Stabilised Solid State Lasers
These lasers have an ultra-compact footprint and cover a variety of wavelengths suitable for laboratory research as well as OEM applications. The OEM option integrates the control electronics within the laser head, further reducing size. Contact us for other wavelengths and output powers.
VersaLase Multiple Wavelength Laser System
The VersaLase™ multiple wavelength laser system combines up to four wavelengths in a single module. The laser module is fully integrated, plug and play, self-contained, and requires no internal user intervention.
Top Hat Illumination System
BioShape laser – an OEM ready laser source that allows for easy system integration and is optically beam shaped specifically to the user’s application. Our flexible optical platform efficiently creates a Top Hat beam profile with high uniformity and no high frequency noise as required in many analytical instruments. The Top Hat beam can be created directly at customer’s target plane (ITH option) or at the focal plane of an existing optical system (DTH option).

Vortran Laser Technologies (VLT) is a laser product development and manufacturing company based in Roseville, CA. who specialise in the design and manufacturing of instrumentation grade laser diode modules and OEM optical subsystems from 375 – 940nm.

CrystaLaser, founded in 1995, located in Reno, Nevada, USA, is a leading manufacturer and designer of ultra-compact diode laser and diode-pumped solid-state DPSS crystal laser systems.  Their lasers are based on their proprietary laser cavity technology, which allows the lasers to operate in a single longitudinal mode and single TEMoo mode with low noise and extremely low power consumption in a compact laser housing.
