Laser 2000

DPSS Laser Systems

Laser 2000 provides a wide range of diode pumped solid state lasers.
Wavelengths are available to cover the UV, visible and IR wavelength regions.

Diode Pumped Solid-State (DPSS) lasers are when the gain media, typically a laser crystal is optically pumped by a semiconductor laser.  Due to this narrow spectrum of the diode it is possible to pump certain absorption bands of the laser crystal without losing power in other spectral regions.  This increases the efficiency and reduces the problems with thermal lensing.

The laser cavity can be designed to provide the optical properties required in your application.  With options for active & passive Q-Switching, nonlinear generation for access to non-standard wavelengths.

Applications

  • Raman Spectroscopy
  • Super-resolution microscopy
  • Confocal microscopy
  • Micro-dissection/Ablation
  • Optogentics/Neuroscience
  • DNA sequencing

  • Photoluminescence
  • Fluorescence excitation
  • Semiconductor/LCD Inspection
  • Particle detection / Counting
  • Lithography
  • Interferometry

Description
Passive Q-Switched Lasers
CryLaS pulsed laser sources based on diode-pumped passively Q switched solid state microchip technology and, depending on the needs of the application, three different product lines at five discrete wavelengths (213nm, 266nm, 355nm 532nm and 1064nm) with energies up to 2.5mJ, repetition rates up to 20 kHz and pulse widths between 1-2.5ns. All laser sources come with control unit, power supply and software.
DPSS Active Q-Switched Lasers
CrystaLaser designs and manufactures state of the art ultra-compact diode-pumped Nd:YAG, Nd:YVO4 and Nd:YLF crystal lasers. Our lasers feature with low noise, high stability, high efficiency, high reliability and excellent laser beam quality. These lasers are suitable for OEM, scientific and industrial use. Wavelengths of the Q-switched laser available from UV to IR (nm): 262, 266, 349, 351, 355, 440, 447, 473, 523, 527, 532, 555, 561, 589, 593, 660, 671, 946, 1047, 1053, 1064, 1313, 1320, 1340 Contact us for other wavelengths and output powers
DPSS CW Laser
Wavelength 473 nm to 1064 nm, and Power up to 3 W. Low noise and Single Longitudinal mode options. TTL modulation and fibre delivery for some wavelengths. Contact us for other wavelengths and output powers.

Our principle suppliers for DPSS Lasers are Crystalaser and Crylas GmbH.

Crystalaser has lasers based on its proprietary laser cavity technology, which allows the lasers to operate in a single longitudinal mode and single TEMoo mode with low noise and extremely low power consumption in a compact laser housing.

CryLaS designs and manufactures diode-pumped solid-state laser, based on microchip-technology. The product portfolio includes passively Q switched nanosecond laser from 213 nm to 1064 nm, and deep UV single frequency continuous wave laser at 266 nm.
