Moku:Lab – “Measure more with less

    • Future-proof your lab
    • Reconfigurable hardware platform
    • Simplify your workflow
    • Reduce costs
    • Lab freedom

With Moku:Lab, Liquid Instruments allow you to replace multiple pieces of equipment and combine them all into one powerful device. Designed to be a reconfigurable hardware platform, it gives access to twelve high-performance instruments which can be added and installed whenever they are needed.

Future-proof your lab:

Moku:Lab comes with five essential instruments included on the base model. You can then add other high-performance instruments, either from purchase, as a “Build-your-own” model, or as add-ons after purchase, as an upgrade, to personalise your Moku:Lab and enhance its capability.

Having a Moku:Lab for your experiments means you can keep one hardware platform and reconfigure the software to suit the project you are undertaking. Replacing multiple pieces of equipment with one device will dramatically reduce the cost of your lab, allowing you to “measure more with less” whilst future-proofing your lab at the same time.

The five essential instruments that come with every Moku:Lab are:

The additional instruments that come with the “Full-suite” model or that can be purchased at any time and installed onto the hardware are:

More information on the instruments available for Moku:Lab can be found through this link.

Specification Overview:

Please find the series specs tab for more detail on the specifications.

Differential Features:

Lab Freedom

The iPad is the perfect partner for Moku:Lab, it even has a stand on top to hold the iPad, shown below; each full-suite order comes with an iPad which can be used to control experiments through the free app. Having a portable display and experimental controller allows you to take data from anywhere and to have ultimate freedom in your lab.

Moku:Lab is Wi-Fi enabled for communication and can even create its’ own wireless network if needed. For environments with Wi-Fi congestion, it can connect via an ethernet cable or a USB cable.

Versatile Analogue Front-end

The analogue front-end is designed for maximum versatility. The two inputs can be configured for AC or DC coupling and the two outputs allow you to generate two high-precision waveforms whilst measuring. Further details can be found in the specifications tab.

External Trigger

Moku:Lab has an external trigger input designed for TTL voltages, please see the specifications tab. Some of the instruments on Moku:Lab use the analogue inputs as high precision external triggers, giving more control over the system’s trigger system

Precision Timing

The ultra-stable internal oscillator can synchronise with external timebases to increase timing precision, please see the specifications tab for more information.
