The laser safety filter T1P04 is a brown absorbing mineral glass filter without additional coating. The protection is based on absorption of the laser light within the bulk material. The filter T1P04 has got limited daylight transmission of approx. 4% which is sufficient in bright working environment. Colour recognition is limited. The filter type T1P04 is certified with M-protection levels and therfore especially suitable for super-continuum-lasers, TiSa with SHG and OPOs. Please calculate required protection levels before using laser safety filters and compare with the filter provided.
The R14 frame style is available with a choice of options for increased comfort. As standard, the frame will be supplied with a soft foam cushion. If you are interested in the lip sealed, or air-vented foam options, please get in touch.
