Light Delivery & Control

Laser 2000 offers a wide range of products for light delivery & control, including hard-coated optical filters, polarisation and phase control, classical optics, and galvanometer scanners.

Cold Atoms Systems

Infleqtion builds software-configured, quantum-enabled products that operate at the Edge.

Microscopy Filters

These optical filters for fluorescence microscopy are hard coated, with a patented construction that gives superior performance. Steeper edges, precise wavelength accuracy and optimised blocking give better contrast and faster measurements, even at UV wavelengths. These filters do not burn out and can be handled and cleaned safely. Their simple structure and hard coating makes them virtually impervious to humidity and temperature induced degradation.

Polarisation & Phase Control

Polarisation is the state or behaviour of the transverse electric field of a light wave. Since the electric component of light is measurably affected by interaction of light with matter and energy, the polarisation characteristics of light can provide diagnostic information for a broad range of applications.

Classical Optics

Laser 2000 partners with many globally recognised partners and brands in providing both custom and off-the-shelf products. Our partner for lifescience filters is Idex Health and Science (Semrock) and for classical optics such as mirrors, lenses, polarisation optics, substrates and sub-assemblies we partner with Optosigma Europe (OSE) and Meadowlark Optics.

Fibre Optics

For over 30 years, Laser 2000 has supplied fibre optic equipment and worked with global partners like VIAVI Solutions, US Conec and INNO Instrument.

Galvanometers & Scanheads

We offer a large range of scan heads and galvanometer scanners for a wide range of applications including Laser marking, micromachining, additive manufacturing, laser drilling and much more.  Galvanometer scanners are high-performance rotary motors for optical applications. Their exceptional dynamics are the result of years of experience developing and manufacturing scanners, scan systems and scan solutions for industrial use.

Manual & Motorised Motion

Laser 2000 offers the Zaber range of motorised stages, which combine great precision and accuracy with simple ease of use, along with a wide selection of manual stages and actuators.

Manual Stages & Actuators

Manual stages are designed to provide precise, high-resolution travel over any combination of the six linear degrees of freedom. More importantly, however, they constrain any form of unwanted movement in the other angular or linear degrees of freedom: pitch, yaw, roll, as well as x-, y-, or z-axis translation. The offering includes linear stages, rotation stages, goniometers, labjacks and manual actuators like micrometers.

Motorised Linear Actuators

The Zaber range of linear actuators provides highly accurate and repeatable motion control; with the simplicity expected from Zaber stages. Whether actuating an existing manual control system, replacing a thumb screw, or larger complex systems like manipulating mirror mounts with many daisy-chained actuators, Zaber has an actuator for the job.

Motorised Linear & Vertical Stages

Laser 2000 offers a wide range of motorised linear and vertical stages; all from Zaber. Each stage in this range, whether a screw-driven stepper-motor based stage, or a linear motor stage; offers great accuracy and repeatability, while the built-in controllers make setup quick and easy.

Rotary Stages

Laser 2000 has a wide range of rotary based stages, provided by Zaber. From full rotation stages, goniometers to optical mirror mounts, Zaber has a stage that will suit any motorised rotation requirement. With the options for a direct encoder to detect the angle of rotation, or a motor encoder to protect against slip or stall, the Zaber stages offer fantastic accuracy and repeatability.

Systems, Controllers & Accessories

Laser 2000, together with Zaber, offers a wide range of multi-stage systems. Combining 2 or 3 linear stages for a simple XY or XYZ system; or even multiple stages for a more complex gantry setup. To control these systems, Zaber offers a wide range of it’s stages without built-in controllers, and has a range of external controllers, from simple OEM level single axis controllers to multi-axis controllers with a range of drive and IO options.

Test & Measurement

A wide range of test & measurement equipment for photonics applications. Including beam profilers; spectrometers and wavemeters; power and energy meters; lab hardware; and products for metrology and polarimetry.

Beam Profilers

Beam profilers are useful in many laser applications, where it is important to know what your laser beam looks like beyond a simple wavelength and energy density measurement. Beam profiling tells you about your laser beam’s spatial characteristics, intensity, propagation, beam quality, and ultimately how useful it is.

Laser Spectrometers & Wavemeters

Laser 2000 offers a wide range of high accuracy, reliable spectrometers & wavemeters, in partnership with our supplier Bristol Instruments.

Optical Power & Energy Meters

From Laser Probes to Meter Heads for Pulsed High Power Lasers and Readout Units. Speak to our experts for guidance.

Laser 2000 supplies a wide range of Optical Power and Energy Meters, including Laser Probes, OEM Optical Power and Energy Sensors, Heads for Pulsed High Power Lasers, Heads for CW High Power Lasers, Heads for CW Low Power Lasers and Readout Units.
