Product Categories

Laser 2000 supplies a wide range of lasers and laser based systems, including diode modules and systems, short pulse, tuneable, and high power blue and mid-IR lasers.

Many of these products are available with a variety of different wavelengths, powers and options, and in various different packages.

Fibre coupling is available with most of our lasers; please ask about fibre coupling options if the choices are not indicated in the literature. Owing to the very large number of combinations and options available, not all of our products can be listed on the website. The individual product data sheets will often list possible variations, or you can contact us for more information.

These product listings give an overview of the scope of our range, but should not be seen as an exhaustive list. If you can’t find the exact laser that you need, or are unsure of what would best suit your application, please get in touch – our knowledgeable team will be happy to help you find the right product, or work with you to create a custom solution to fit your needs.

Supercontinuum Lasers

SuperLight Photonics, specialist in supercontinuum lasers, has developed the first revolutionary portable wideband laser, the SLP-1000.

Its high-quality smooth wide spectral output offers an unrivalled light source for a wide range of industrial and bio-medical imaging applications and for the dynamic world of spectroscopy.

Laser Diodes

Nanoplus semiconductor laser diodes range from 760 nm to 14 µm with powers up to 30 mW, including: multimode Fabry Perot (FP) lasers with ±20 nm precision and Distributed Feedback (DFB) lasers with linewidths of 3 MHz. Typical applications include gas detection and spectroscopy.

Diode Modules & Systems

Vortran Laser Technology manufactures instrument grade laser diode modules and OEM subsystems with long-term power stability, pointing stability, beam quality and ease of use. Typical applications are microscopy such as confocal, FRAP, SPIM, STORM, STED and BioPhotonics such as flow cytometry.

DPSS Laser Systems

CrystaLaser manufactures ultra-compact diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser systems in UV, green, red and NIR wavelengths for scientific and industrial applications. CW, modulated CW, and Q-Switched versions are available, with low noise and single frequency options.

Machine Vision Lasers

Osela provides laser illumination systems for industrial applications in machine vision, industrial inspection and instrumentation. Its core competency is refractive beam shaping creating customer specific beam shapes with the required uniformity. Lasers range from 405-830 nm, with powers up to 15 W.

Fixed Wavelength Mid-IR Lasers

In the 3-13 µm region the power of room temperature QCLs is getting higher and higher. Our high power, fixed-wavelength mid-IR Aries-2 QCL is produced by Daylight Solutions and has up to 2W power, with CW and pulsed, narrowband and broadband options. The Aries can be deployed for stand-off detection, IR countermeasures, leak detection, detector calibration and much more.

Tunable Lasers Vis-NIR-IR

Daylight Solutions provides mid-IR tunable Quantum Cascade Lasers (QCLs) from 3-13 μm.

Fibre Lasers & Amplifiers

BKTel Photonics provides powerful fibre lasers at 1, 1.5 & 2 µm wavelengths. With picosecond (ps) pulses to CW outputs, these lasers enable applications such as LIDAR, 3D scanning and other industrial and medical applications

Short Pulse (ns/ps/fs) Lasers

SPARK Lasers manufactures compact picosecond (ps) and femtosecond (fs) fibre lasers for neuroscience applications, such as two photon (2P) microscopy and high power lasers used in micromachining such as stents and catheters known as Implantable Medical Devices (IMDs).

Picoquant produces picosecond (ps) laser diodes from 375-1990 nm, with average powers up to 450 mW and peak powers up to 1 W.

High Power Blue Lasers

Nuburu‘s high power (<500 W), blue laser (450 nm) enables processing speeds from 2 to over 10X current infrared lasers, for a large range of metal processing applications, such as copper welding for E-mobility.
