Laser 2000

Image Splitting Optics

Laser 2000 offers image splitting optics with varying fields of view.
Speak to our experts for guidance.

Image splitting optics provide one pair of dual-wavelength images to cameras. By utilizing custom optics, a wide field of view, ultra-low distortion, High Spatial Uniformity, High Transmission and Dual Channel Rotational alignment, they can deliver high resolution images for single neuron imaging and much more.

The W-VIEW GEMINI is an image splitting optics that provides one pair of dual-wavelength images separated by a dichroic mirror onto a single camera. Simultaneous image acquisition of dual-wavelength images provides high speed ratio metric imaging and other multiple fluorescence applications.

The W-VIEW GEMINI is designed to take advantage of the wide field of view provided by sCMOS cameras. Up to 13 mm × 6.4 mm F.O.V. and resolution of up to approximately 2000 pixels × 1000 pixels for each image.

The W-VIEW GEMINI-2C is the first dual camera, dual channel system engineered with super resolution quality, while simultaneously offering versatility, expandability and ease of use. The W-VIEW GEMINI-2C turns a simple optical concept into an elegant and useful tool that can help maximize the information content of every image acquisition.

Laser 2000 are proud to work with the world leader in manufacturing optoelectronic components and systems, Hamamatsu Photonics.

Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. started as a small firm in 1953 by Heihachiro Horiuchi who studied under the guidance of Dr. Kenjiro Takayangi now respectfully called the “father of Japanese television.” Over the past 65 years, they have been consistently engaged in developing photoelectric devices and their application products while moving forward along with the continuing advances in technologies of light.

The Company’s corporate philosophy stresses the advancement of photonics through extensive research and yields products that are regarded as state-of-the-art. All products are designed to cover the entire optical spectrum and provide solutions for a wide variety of applications including analytical, consumer, industrial and medical instrumentation.

Developments in digital imaging continue to be made by the Hamamatsu Systems Division, which offers a portfolio of scientific cameras to fit almost any budget and application. As a leader in scientific CMOS camera revolution, Hamamatsu’s cameras are being utilized in a wide range of applications that span the visible and NIR wavelengths.

Because of the above we are honoured to work alongside Hamamatsu to provide the best quality cameras for all our customers and look forward to discovering new realms of possibility with the Hamamatsu technology.
