BKTel Product Range
BKTel has a very wide range of products broadly split into 3 product categories.
Amplification
Products ranging from very cost competitive MSA EDFAs for Telecoms deployment, low noise analogue amplifiers for analogue amplification (CATV for example) and fibre sensing, Polarisation Maintaining (PM) amplifiers for interferometric applications where polarisation stability is critical, high power application up to 10W+ and amplifiers design for pulsed, high peak power applications.
Fibre Lasers (+MOPA)
As above but including seed lasers or true long cavity fibre lasers. Seeds can be simple FP (Fabry Perot), DFB (Distributed Feed Back) or specialist narrow linewidth (external cavity ECDL) lasers for coherent and interferometric applications. BKTel can also build pulsed lasers (internal or external trigger) for low power applications such as TOF (time of flight) or high power applications such as marking or medical applications.
Broadband ASE sources
BKTel supplies cost effective broadband ASE sources, typically for sensing application such as those using FBG (Fibre Bragg Grating) and imaging applications such as OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography).
BKTel specialises in broad wavelength bands in windows at 1 µm (Ytterbium), 1.5 µm (Erbium) and 2 µm (Thulium).
