Spectroscopy & Hyperspectral Imaging Systems
Laser 2000 supplies hyperspectral imaging and spectroscopy instruments for the detection, identification, and characterisation of materials, tissues, and trace chemicals. Our systems combine a hyperspectral camera or laser-based imaging spectrometer with advanced chemical ID software, giving you both the spatial and spectral data needed to identify what a material is — not just what it looks like.
Working closely with DRS Daylight Solutions and Photon Systems, we offer desktop, benchtop, and handheld instruments covering UV, visible, and mid-infrared wavelength ranges. Our Spero® microscopes deliver laser-based IR hyperspectral imaging for chemical composition mapping at high resolution, while the ChemDetect™ combines broadly tunable QCL technology with embedded chemical ID algorithms for real-time trace chemical detection. For applications requiring in-situ measurement, our handheld hyperspectral imager and Raman devices bring lab-grade material identification into the field.
