OptoViewer 2.0 – Free with every Imaging Module
The OptoViewer 2.0 software is the main software used on all of Opto’s imaging modules. It comes as a free download supplied with any imaging module with free updates available at regular intervals. Opto offer OptoViewer plugins for specific tasks, explained below. Please contact us for information on customised plugins.
Easy and Effective Analysis and Documentation
OptoViewer 2.0 is perfect for documentation and is designed to make the analysis process as easy as possible for the user, through automation and through the simple user interface.

Pre-calibrated measurement settings – OptoViewer 2.0 makes it possible to quickly execute measurements like point to point distances and angle measurements using a pre-calibrated magnification factor. The image above shows how the angle measurement tool in action.
Documentation – OptoViewer 2.0 is perfect for documentation. It enables users to collect videos, store images and make annotations on the screened objects. On top of this, crosshairs, grids and scales are all available to make viewing the key parts of the images much easier. The analysed objects then require a simple export to files for storage.
Programming Interface – Offers a simple programming interface that understands all common standards such as C++, Halcon, Python and more.
Opto offers plugins which automate and digitalise analysis and mass testing tasks to allow for rapid research and development. AI computer processing gives instant data and is more efficient for repetitive tasks.
